Stingerbee HD Faulty Gyro

Yes I am not ruling out a possible gyro issue, but it’s just odd that we couldn’t find it during our test flights and gyro tests… one thing to note is that we tested without the O3 air unit installed. So can you double check nothing is loose such as the air unit, or any cables could be rattling on the fc causing some vibrations?

Can you also confirm if you also have the issue in a hover (assuming you have a safe space to do a test hover)

Kind Regards

Yeah had the issue at hover before I even put the o3 in, attached video of this below and a picture showing nothing is touching the FC with the o3 installed. Baffled at how we have had different result.

At what point is it accepted as faulty? it’s been nearly a month and I’ve been patient and appreciate the support given, tried everything asked and returned items accidentally sent to me.

Thanks
Jordan

Please return this one back to to us again and we will get it replaced/refunded for you. Sorry about this, I am not sure how this happened as we did a few test flights here with no issue, but its clear that you still have an issue so something must be wrong that did not show up when we tested it for some reason.

Hi, just to update you with this, and sorry its taken some time, but we have finally resolved the issue with this item.
1 - The reason why we could not reproduce the issue is because we were test flying the drone on 2s (as it didn’t have the O3 installed we didn’t need extra power)
2 - When we moved to 4S, we could reproduce the issue, however because it only occurred on higher voltage we investigate further and it turns out that the PID D gains, we also turned down the D term lowpass filters as they were set rather high, so we lowered them too and now the quad it flying flawlessly on 4S too. Could you confirm which voltage you were using on your quad so we can double check this too.

Based on this the issue was caused by misconfiguration, and not a direct hardware fault, however, the turnaround time for this issue has gone on for quite some time, so I just wanted to check if you prefer us to send it back to you again, or do you prefer to look at a refund?

Please let me know so we can get this issue closed for you at last!

Hi,

Good news that you was able to replicate the issue thought I was cursed!

Yes I was using a 550mah 4s lipo so 16.8v

I appreciate the effort gone into resolving this so I’m happy for it to come back preferably not at my expense.

Also I returned a miss order: UT-694329 a couple of weeks ago, should the credit be in my account? Got some items lined up

Thanks,
Jordan

Sure, not a problem we will get it send back to you now  You will get an email with tracking details once its been collected

Hey,

It is much better but not quite there, can you tell me exactly what you changed and how? I’m hoping I can turn it down/up more to eradicate the problem.

Can see the shakes through the camera when throttling, ignore the messed up OSD!

Thanks,
Jordan

My suggestion would be to go through the tuning process as described on this page/tool, as it does a pretty decent job at getting your tune dialed in - Tuning Tools (fpv-drone.info)
