GoPro Charging Capacity

The G4S
The FY-G4S now comes with an in-built mini USB plug that you connect your GoPro camera to directly. You can the charge your camera as you film and this handy plug also provides the GoPro with that little extra support! This also enables video output and so you have absolutely no need for any cables!

The G4
The old G4, however, needs a separate cable to enable the charging facility and also the video output.

The Power Switch

The G4S
What used to be the power switch on the FY-G4 has now been modified into a tripod mount. This fantastic modification boosts the versatility of your gimbal significantly and you now power your gimbal with the mode button seen above.

The G4
As mentioned, the G4 does not have a tripod mount and instead has the power switch at the bottom of the handle.

Camera Installation

The G4S
The FY-G4S now comes with an easy to fasten and unfasten buckle for your GoPro camera. The separate buckle is slightly flexible, allowing you to bend it into the slots on the gimbal itself. This is not only more secure, but much quicker and easier to fasten/unfasten than the screws seen on the G4 gimbal.

This buckle is suitable for GoPro without Bacpac.

The G4
The G4 has the bracket and two screws setup that takes time to install and uninstall but does allow for GoPro with Bacpac.

The Packaging

The G4S
The new upgrade now comes with a hard shell carry case for your gimbal. This makes the FY-G4S one of the most stylish and practical filming accessories out there.

The G4
The G4 does not come with any carry case and just arrives in the decorative box seen above.
