Hi Andrew good day,

We had some feedback from FrSky, seems a common issue with these radios is the use of the incorrect 18650 cell, which leads to this issue. FRSKy asked if you can confirm if the correct cell type was used?

I attached a photo they sent through to compare and confirm.

Hi David,

I feel that I have gone as far as I want to with this radio. I repeat that I have measured the batteries in place with an accurate voltmeter, and they are giving a normal voltage. I have a City and Guilds certificate, so I have a good grounding on what goes on with batteries. I don’t thing I should be asked to repair this transmitter, so I now ask you to refund it.

Not a problem. To clarify I did not ask you to conduct any repair work on the radio, FrSky simply asked if you could confirm if the correct cell type had been used in the radio. I do apologise if it seems like I asked you to conduct any repair work on your controller, that was not the intention.
