Order Number: UT-722978-WH/OUT/54833
Product Name: Td R10 Rx
Brand: Frsky
Aileron/FBus should work off Pin no 1. I was using FBus on a MSH Brain 2, but it would not work off Pin 1. Firmware was updated prior to this. I tried updating firmware and resetting the rx a number of times.Eventually I tried a servo in Pin 1. There was no output for aileron. All other pins worked ok. I re-mapped pin 1 to channel 24 and set aileron on pin 10 and the servo worked. I set FBus on pin 9. This allowed my MSH Brain 2 to work. Pin 1 is not working. TX is a Frsky X20 Pro.
Firmware updated and rx reset and registered a number of times. Remapping pins got it working but not pin 1. Pics attached of ail stick input. Servo remains in neutral with full stick. Elevator pic in neutral works with full stick.
Hi Iain good day,
Thanks for reaching out to us, I am sorry to see you are struggling with your receiver here.
I’m not entirely sure why it is giving you this issue, so I have sent through your description and photos to FrSky and have asked one of their engineers to take a look and give us some feedback.
As soon as I hear back from them I will let you know.
If there is anything else I can assist with in the meantime please do let me know.
Regards,
David

Hi Iain good day,
I have been speaking with FrSky, they have requested some clarification on the set-up.
I have added their comment below for clarity:
1. Please ask the user to input a video and send it to us for review
2. Is the user’s steering gear directly plugged into the receiver? Or is it a gyroscope?
What is set for pin 1 in receiver Settings? (take pictures)
And the mixing interface to see how to set up? (take pictures)
Would you be able to send those through to use, so I can send these on to FrSky?
I do apologise for the delay in getting this sorted out for you.
Regards,
David

Hi David, this all seems pointless. Putting it simply pin 1 is not working. It would not send out an fbus signal when I tried that and would not work when set as aileron on a bare setup. I remapped aileron to another pin and the receiver is fitted and working in a helicopter. The number of channels I need is ok. I have lost an output channel which is not the end of the world. I have been trying to move my models over to FrSky. Having over 30 it will take a while, although I have bought a few receivers and another transmitter from you so will get there. I have been flying models for 43 years lol. Just leave it. Iain
Hi Iain good day,
After a number of emails with FrSky and an explanation of your frustration with the situation, they have agreed to replace the unit for you.
I do apologise for the lengthy process of this.
We do not have any of the TD R10’s in stock currently so I can offer you an immediate refund or I can send you a replacement when they do arrive.
We have these on order, but realistically they will probably arrive at our warehouse in the next 3-4 weeks.
Please let me know which you would prefer and I can action that for you?
Hope this helps.
If there is anything else I can assist with please do let me know.
Regards,
David
