When plugging in the charger to the AC mains it makes three beeps as expected but then does nothing else. If I power it from a DC source then it powers up correctly giving 3 beeps , the screen comes on and the fans run briefly.

- Check the outlet: Try a different AC socket or circuit. Use a surge protector if you have one.
- Full reset: Unplug for 15 mins, then try again. Listen for any differences in the beeps.
- Inspect: Look for any damage on the power cord or port. Check if it’s warm after trying.
- While on DC: Note the firmware version from the screen if possible.
If these don’t help, it’s likely a hardware fault in the AC converter, which means we may need to replace it under warranty. In this case could you send us some photos, and if possible a video showing the issue so we can request a replacement from Hota who will either be able to provide the solution, or authorise a replacement.
Please also, include the serial number on the charger.
