Low RPM on Low KV motors

So i have recently rebuilt my Hex, with almost all new everything but FC and FPV stuff. That said, i’ve come across an issue. My motors, Arris 288KV on Readytosky 40A ESC OPTO powered by a 4S 16K Mah battery, has very low RPM issues.

I’ve looked across the web and half of the articles i find state that low voltage is an issue, but shouldn’t cause that massive of a problem, while the other half is stating that its not a power supply, but an ESC calibration/settings issue. My ESCs, according to the maker, can be configured via BLHeli, but only on passthrough, and I’m unsure if i can pass through on a Naza-M V2, due to never really using BLHeli ESCs before.

In addition, if any good advice can be given when dealing with low KV drones, i’d much greatly appreciate it.

Hey Jordan,
You can figure out if your FC supports flash-through by simply plugging your FC into Your Computer and conecting it via BlHeli Suite
