How to Restore Your Mobula8 O4 Settings

Follow these steps to safely apply the CLI dump:

  1. Connect your Mobula8 to your PC and open Betaflight Configurator.
  2. Navigate to the CLI tab (Command Line Interface).
  3. Open the text file you downloaded above.
  4. Copy all text (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C).
  5. Paste the text into the bottom command bar in Betaflight (Ctrl+V).
  6. Press Enter and wait for the text to stop scrolling.
  7. Type save and press Enter.
  8. The flight controller will reboot. You are now ready to fly.

Why do I need the Nick Burns tune?
The stock Mobula8 O4 flies great, but reviewer Nick Burns tweaked the PIDs and filters to handle the extra weight of the O4 Air Unit more smoothly. Many pilots prefer this “locked-in” feel for freestyle flying over the default factory tune.

Will this work if I’m on Betaflight 4.4?
No. These dump files are specifically for Betaflight 4.5.1. If you are on an older version, please update your firmware first, or these settings may cause errors (especially with the unified target mappings).

My OSD isn’t working after the update?
The Mobula8 O4 uses the DJI O4 Air Unit which requires the correct MSP settings on the UART ports. These dump files include the correct “MSP + DisplayPort” configuration. If you still have issues, check that your Air Unit is powered and the RX/TX wires are secure.
