For Christmas this year, I am getting a DJI Phantom 3 standard. One of the negatives to it is the range being about only a half mile. I would like to fly it farther once in a while. Is there a way to extend the range in an affordable way? Thank you
Unfortunately there is no easy way to boost the range of your phantom 3 standard drone. The only thing I can think of is to figure out a way to add a more powerful WiFi range extender. But if flying further out is what you realy want to do then it might be best to save some more and purchase the phantom 3 advanced which will give you the extra range you are looking for.
