BetaFPV has unveiled the latest iterations of its whoop frames—the Air65 2 and Air75 2—boasting a trim weight and a bit more power. The Air75 has shed a commendable 10% in weight, now tipping the scales at just 4 grams, while the Air65 comes in at an impressive 2.65 grams. These lightweight frames aren’t just about shedding grams; they also feature improved duct shapes and increased rigidity, tackling vibrations like a champ.

Speaking of improvements, the flight controller mounting holes have been made larger, which should put an end to those annoying broken posts we all know too well. It seems BetaFPV is listening to our woes, as these updates aim to provide a smoother flying experience without requiring any new electronics. In fact, users can expect around 5% more power from the Air65 and a whopping 11% from the Air75, all without having to part with their existing motors or ESCs.

Additionally, the ExpressLRS Lite receiver has received a signal boost, promising better link stability in a package so tiny you’d think it was designed for pixies. Aimed squarely at short-range flights, this little gem features a flat antenna and weighs just 0.46 grams—perfect for those close encounters with unsuspecting furniture.

While some might grumble at BetaFPV’s relentless tinkering, the truth is these updates effectively address common pain points and enhance performance. So, if you’ve ever had a mishap with your whoop frame or are simply on the hunt for a tad more zip, these new frames could be just the ticket.
