The BetaFPV Air65 Wisp has arrived, and it’s quite the sight to behold—if your idea of a good time involves annoying your neighbours with a glow-in-the-dark whoop, that is. Available in 65mm and 75mm versions, this little marvel is more than just a fancy light show; it boasts various impressive specs, including a radio with serial 2.4 GHz ExpressLRS and an analogue VTX that can go from a whisper-quiet 25mW to a rather cheeky 400mW.

While it may be mostly cosmetic, the Wisp does come with some upgrades: a sprightly Air 65 2 frame, an adjustable Air 2 canopy, and photoluminescent props. But before you dash off to order one, bear in mind that its standard C03 camera isn’t particularly suited for low-light shenanigans—so don’t expect to capture the full eerie effect unless you swap it out for something more capable.

In terms of flight, you can expect around four minutes on a 300 mAh 1S battery, but remember, if you’re feeling particularly throttle-happy, that may dwindle faster than your enthusiasm for yet another cup of tea. To get the glow going, just expose it to sunlight for about half an hour—because who doesn’t want to spend their afternoon charging tiny drones instead of, I don’t know, enjoying life?

So, if you fancy adding a touch of nocturnal flair to your fleet, grab the Air65 Wisp while you can. After all, it’s a limited edition, and we all know how quickly those tend to vanish—like decent biscuits at a staff meeting.
