Thanks to Michal Rusina who shared to pics over at DIYdrones showing some of the tweaks he put onto his arducopter quadcopter frame.
He used a old CD case as a protective dome… great idea! the APM board is mounted onto some foam to help with vibrations.
The ends of the arducopter arms where covered with some tape that matched the colour. As you can see one of the arms had a LED to help with orientation.
Lastly he secured the battery connector with a zip tie to neaten things off.
