This is a companion topic for our recent blog post on blog.unmanned.tech

In the latest blog post, we delve into the RadioMaster TX15 and its newfound ability to sport extra three-position switches—because why not add a few more buttons to your remote? Painless360 provides a handy guide for those eager to elevate their fixed-wing flying experience without resorting to complex setups or jumping through menus mid-flight.

Why bother, you ask? Well, with an H7-based processor and 4GB of RAM, this transmitter is practically a tech wizard. The new switches allow you to easily manage essential functions like arming your aircraft and controlling beepers without the usual faff. And let’s face it, who doesn’t want a few more convenient buttons in their life?

To get started, you’ll need to gather a few bits and bobs: some replacement bezels (included in the kit), optional coloured switch nuts, and the three-position switches themselves—sadly, not included. A couple of screwdrivers and a soft cloth will also come in handy, preferably one that hasn’t been used to clean up after last night’s curry.

Installation is straightforward and should take about ten minutes, even if you decide to take a short coffee break. Once you’re done, just pop into the EdgeTX settings to recognise the new hardware, and voila! Your transmitter is now a veritable Swiss Army knife of switchery.
