I’m looking to get my son an upgrade from the native betafpv controller to a radiomaster pocket.
My question is whether the new controller could be bound to the betafpv cetus lite ?
Thank you !

The BetaFPV Cetus Lite uses the Frsky D8 protocol for its radio communication.
So if you wanted to use the radiomaster pocket you can get the CC2500 version to bind to the cetus lite - RadioMaster Pocket Radio Controller - Unmanned Tech Shop
However longer term most drones are now using ELRS protocol, so depending how long you plan on keeping the cetus lite it would be better to keep using the stock radio, and then later upgrading both the drone and get the ELRS version of the pocket, that way the pocket radio can be used with most other drones in the future. Hope that makes sense!
