Hi good day Adam,

Thanks for reaching out to us!
Sorry to hear you are struggling with your AIO.

Can you please send me some clear photos of the top and bottom side of the board and I will ask HGLRC to take a look for us.

Hope this helps.
If there is anything else we can help in the meantime please do let us know.

Regards,
David

Hi Adam good day,

Desoldering the AIO makes it really tricky to try and trouble shoot the issue now, but the board does seem to have possible soldering related damage. I have sent your images on to HGLRC and have asked their engineers to take a look for us.

As soon as I hear back from them I will update you.

If there is anything I can help with in the interim, please do let me know.

Regards,
David

Hi Adam good day,

HGLRC asked if the FC works now that the components have been disconnected from the board? Can you confirm if the board initialises when plugged into USB without any components soldered to it?

I can confirm the board still does not power on after everything has been desoldered

Hi Adam good day,

We had some feedback from HGLRC regarding your AIO, they stated poor soldering as the probably cause to the issues you are experiencing with the board. Some good news however, after a number of emails back and forth with them, and a call for leniency, they have agreed to replace the unit for you.

Currently we do not have any stock of that specific AIO, so we can either send you a replacement when we do receive new stock, or I can refund you for the unit. Realistically, new stock will take between 5-8 weeks to arrive as we just received a shipment in from HGLRC.

Please let me know what you would prefer and I can action that for you?

Can we please also ask you to return the faulty unit, I have created an RMA for you:

Thank you for submitting your return request. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) has been created for your order.

You should receive an email shortly at the address associated with your order. This email will contain:

  1. Your RMA number

  2. A link to our RMA form

  3. Instructions for completing the return process

Please check your inbox (and spam folder) for this email. If you don’t receive it within the next hour, please let us know here.

Remember to complete the RMA form and initiate your return within 30 days. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in this thread.

Lastly, as noted previously, the faulty was said to have been probably related to soldering, if this were to happen again, we would not be able to replace a second unit for you.

Hope this helps.
If there is anything else we can help with please do let us know.

David
