Every time I try to set it up it stops at 33% , once went up to 47% but then stopped.
Can anybody help please.
If you’re having trouble calibrating your GPS with the Pixhawk and it’s stopping at 33% or 47%, there are several steps and considerations that might help resolve the issue:
- Connection and Wiring: Ensure that your GPS module is properly connected to the Pixhawk. The primary GPS should be connected to the port labeled
GPS1
,GPS&SAFETY
, orGPS
. If you’re using a u-blox GPS module, these ports are typically plug-and-play. Check that the wiring is correct and secure, as improper connections can lead to calibration issues. Make sure the wiring is also away from any power lines, as they can also easily interefe on I2C lines. - Compass Calibration: Compass calibration is crucial and should be done away from any magnetic interference. Make sure the GPS/compass module is mounted away from power lines and motors to reduce interference. If the calibration process stops, try recalibrating in a different location or environment
Hey Alex,
I checked all the connections and tried the calibration in a open area but still didn’t work
So I am planning to buy one more GPS module for now.
But is there anything else I can do.
Sure thing, let me know how you get on so we can figure out what the issue is for anyone else in the future who may run into a similar issue!
