Lipo battery lead wires gauged below the max discharge rate?

I have a lipo battery it is 6000mAh and rated 25–50c. That means I can pull about 150 amps continuous from the battery. But lead wires attached to the battery are only 10awg which are rated about 55 amps for chassis wiring. Does this mean I am really limited to 55 amps continuous?

Yep, the wire can handle more than 55A but not for a long period continuous period, bit for short burst might be ok, but with that battery I doubt it will go onto a racing drone so your drone will probably not be pulling much more than 50A at hover
