3.5in HD FPV OasisFly35 sensible flight times, cold fingers, mild crashes

The OasisFly35 is a compact 3.5in quad that’s all set to make you look good while you drift through the skies. Designed for those who desire near-5in efficiency without the unwieldy bulk, it comes ready for HD FPV and offers options for O4 Pro, O3, or O4 Lite cameras. Nick Burns put it to the test and found it can handle everything from cinematic cruising to the occasional full-send freestyle—just watch out for cold fingers and mild crashes.

In terms of hardware, the OasisFly35 features a Red Fox A3 45A flight controller and Sub250 1804 motors that deliver a commendable performance. Weighing in at around 199g (without the battery), it can take on a 530mAh 4S battery for about 5.5 minutes of aggressive flying or a 930mAh for a leisurely 11.5 minutes of joy. But hey, who’s counting? Just make sure to tie up that battery lead; it’ll save you from future soldering shenanigans.

As for build quality, it boasts a robust urban fibre carbon top plate and split arms for easy replacements. The camera angle isn’t quite what you’d hope for if you fancy steep freestyle moves, but it’ll do just fine for those swooping cinematic shots. And if the winter chill is giving your fingers frostbite, don’t worry—heated gloves are an option, albeit with diminished dexterity for those daring tricks.

In summary, the OasisFly35 is a sensible choice for pilots in search of a nimble yet capable quad. While it’s not faultless (is anything?), its performance suggests it’s worth every penny once you’ve sorted out the tuning.
