Today, we’re casting our eyes over the GepRC Cinelog30 V3, a quadcopter that’s apparently got its act together after the V2’s misadventures in stability. With upgrades aplenty and a design that doesn’t scream “I’ve just come back from a windy day”, the V3 aims to charm both the casual pilot and the more serious filmmaker.
In terms of specs, you’ll find a TAKER F722 flight controller, 1404 motors, and the DJI O4 Pro camera—because, let’s face it, who doesn’t want their aerial shots to look like they’ve been lifted straight from a Hollywood blockbuster? As for its performance, Nick took the V3 for a joyride on a calm Saturday, only to later fling it into a 25 mph gale during his lunch break. The results were impressively stable footage, proving this drone isn’t just another pretty face.
When stacked against the V2, the V3 emerges as a sturdier beast, boasting better prop protection and materials that appear less susceptible to the unfortunate proclivities of flight. And if you’re fretting over battery life, fret not—flight times can stretch between 6 minutes 30 seconds and a hearty 11 minutes, depending on how many gadgets you decide to hang off it.
So, if you’re in the market for a drone that promises to deliver both stability and cinematic flair while keeping up with your less-than-ideal flying conditions, the Cinelog30 V3 could be just the ticket. For a full rundown, including Nick’s hands-on insights, pop over to the video here:
