GPS / Compass Recommended Position

Hello,

I was looking for recommendations on mounting a GPS / Compass module:

I am using the F450 frame. Would it be recommended to use attach the GPS / Compass to an extension poll?

I would suggest mounting it using a GPS mount as it keeps it away from any sources of EMF. Otherwise if you dont want to use a GPS mount then just make sure to mount it away from your motors, ESC, and any power cables as the compass is quite susceptible to interference… However here are two mounts that you can us.
