LiPo Batteries - How to choose the best battery for your drone

Hi Alex,

Motor is Racerstar Racing Edition 4114 BR4114 400KV 4-8S Brushless Motor For 600 650 700 800 RC Drone FPV Racing

According to the manufacturer load current is 25.5A at max thrust. I assume this is for a one motor. See below pls.

Tested with 22.2V voltage 17x4 propellers:
Load current: 25.5A
Pull: 2920g
Power: 566W
Efficiency: 5.2 (g/W)

So it has to be 25.5 x 6? Because I have 6 motors?

To explain it, my build is Tarot 810 series frame with DJI Naza M V2, Hobbywing 40A Opto.

My doubt is the battery. I have Turnigy multistar 5200mAh 10C battery.

When I do the math, it’s not good enough. My initial plan was to have the second battery of the same and fly my build with two batteries for longer time.

So, what is your recommendation? A bigger capacity battery with higher C rating?
