So you may have heard on the grape vine that there a problem with the new Runcam Split camera with the lack of reverse current protection i.e. when you plug your camera into the computer, there is no protection against current being sent back through the FC and damaging it.
We can put your minds at ease now as if you are using a PDB (which you really should be doing), the problem will likely never occur. We contacted Runcam about this and they said that their technician have tested the Split with the following PDB and everything was fine:
