New Tattu R-Line Lipo 1 of 2 arrived faulty on arrival today, one cell is only reading 2V indicating a faulty cell, the other Lipo ordered is ok
checked cell voltage on several voltage checkers and my main charger, confirmed one cell only reading 2V and is faulty on arrival

Hi Alex, any response yet it’s been 2 weeks?

Sorry about this, it seems our reply was not received. Gensace are asking if you can send a photo showing the actual battery connected to the charger with the voltages, as in the photos and video we sent them, the battery shown is not the one connected to the charger. Would it be possible to add this and we should get this resolved, as they seem to suggest the voltages may indicate the battery has been used already (which is why the need to see the battery connected to the charger in the same photo with the faulty cells shown in the charger.

The faulty battery in the photos is the only battery connected to the charger, i do not understand the confusion. I have sent 2 more photos of the same battery connected to the same charger to again highlight the obvious fault with one of the cells only showing 1.758V which is clearly faulty. The battery has not been used and never even been charged as the fault was noticed immediately on arrival and i do not want to even risk charging this faulty lipo. As you can see in all the pics and the video sent i have only connected the balance lead to see the individual cell voltages and the fault, you can clearly see in the photos that the main XT60 power cable is still wrapped in tape near the “DO NOT PULL” label as it was sent from the factory and unused and never been connected to anything, this clearly proves the battery has never been used so i have no idea where you are getting the impression it has been used, what more proof can i possibly offer?

Alex you should have received the returned faulty lipo last friday when can i expect a refund please?

Sorry about this, the refund was issued at teh start of the week on our system, but there was a softwar eissue that did not trigger this on the payment gateway, I ahve just done this mabually for you now,

The time it takes for the refund to reach you will depend on the payment method you used:

  • PayPal - you should have the refund in your PayPal account now.

  • Credit Card - will take 1-5 days to show back on your card depending on your bank processing times.
